  1. The “cream-faced loon” part is of course timeless Shakespearean prose that can still be applied to the cat faces of today.

  2. I think it’s more something cats say of others. As is the second quote. And I often think when my cat is flicking her woollen mouse off her paw where it gets caught, “Off, off, you lendings”.
