Autumn poem

under fog the water is so still

each boat stands on its own stiff shadow

and autumn             burns the trees again

  1. It reminds me of a cool, stony fireplace, with a log being ignited within. That’s what it’s going to have to remind me of until the next leaf-peeing season, anyway! This picture, by the way, reminds me of one I took around Manasquan Reservoir in NJ: http://sdanzig.github.io/personal/images/hikes/manasquan_reservoir/trees_in_water.jpg … Blue and pink tones set such a distinct tone to the end of a day! Nature constantly reminds us how lucky we are.

  2. What a wonderful picture, and yes, it is so like the one in our post I had to double-check that I hadn’t inadvertently pinched your photo. “Nature reminds us how lucky we are”- how well put.
