Jane Reichold 1937-2016

Sad to hear Jane Reichold has left this life. She was a talented writer and translator of haiku in English, German, and Japanese and was the founder of the website http://www.ahapoetry.com

Her books are many. Read about them and a little about her life on her Amazon page:

The book of hers I have used most is her simple and delightful Writing and Enjoying Haiku published in 2002. Small format, and 159 pages long, it covers everything one could want to know about writing and understanding haiku.

A few haiku by Jane:

another red tongue

on mine

silver-tipped firs

snow deepening

death morning

snowflakes falling

each alone
