A Change is Gonna Come

I was born by the river in a  little tent

Oh and just like the river  I’ve been running ev’r since

It’s been a long time coming, a long time coming

But I know a change gonna come, oh yes it will

…………………………………………………….

There have been times that I thought I couldn’t last for long

But now I think I’m able to carry on

It’s been a long time coming

But I know a change is gonna come, oh yes it will

Do you think we have a little reason for optimism at present? Is a change gonna come?
