‘Be off with you,’ said the first ant. It was his territory.

‘Be off with you,’ said the second. He was young and brash.

‘You.’

You.’

They lunged from side to side like Sumo wrestlers, each staggering under his breadcrumb.

The young ant was stronger but the old ant was smarter. He dropped his breadcrumb and sprang, giving the young ant a painful nip on the proboscis. The young ant dropped his breadcrumb. The old ant snatched it up and went on his way, gloating. The young ant snatched up the old ant’s breadcrumb and went on his way, gloating.

Moral: Victory is all. (Owlexander the Great).
